RUBICON HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION
Description
Rubicon self-catering is a historical gem. It’s units were once the classrooms of a local school from the Victorian era in the charming old-world village of Rhodes in the Eastern Cape Highlands, on the border with Lesotho. The old school building was built in 1924 and has been converted into holiday accommodation.
The 6 self-catering units are equipped and contain a bathroom, kitchenette, and fireplace. Guests are provided with bedding and towels. There is a restaurant on site, as well as braai facilities in the courtyard.
Rhodes Village was declared a conservation area in 1997 and is surrounded by pristine rivers and majestic mountains. The Victorian-era village exudes charm and beauty and is the ideal getaway for those seeking a break from the city.
Guests can enjoy scrumptious meals at the restaurant or unwind and rejuvenate at the spa. Winter turns this picturesque area into a white wonderland with snow blanketing the property. This lodge offers a truly unique experience as well as plenty of opportunities to create unforgettable memories.
